Ocean Shores Holiday Park - Manning Point

Manning Point is a small coastal village at the mouth of the Manning River - between Taree and Old Bar in New South Wales. Easts Ocean Shores Holiday Park is at Manning Point, near Taree in NSW. This park is quite long with a number of permanent cabins - just a short walk through the coastal rainforest to the beach and about two minutes to the river. There is a gate at one end of the park that allows direct access to the Bowling Club - very convenient for a pre-dinner drink, dinner or maybe even a games of bowls.

Park features include:

• two children's playgrounds located at both ends of the park 
• camp kitchens with barbeque facilities - again at either end  
• recreation room 
• kiosk - ice, bait and gas bottle refills
• swimming pool & toddlers pool - set in beautiful gardens with slide and bridges
• two amenities blocks - again one at each end (there is an outside toilet & basins at each block in case you are nearby without your key - great feature) - babies bath available
• cabins ranging from budget to luxury self contained one and two bedroom - very neat and tidy
• caravan sites are powered with slab
• camping grounds are grassed - you can choose to set up in the camping area only or in the same area as caravans - great when travelling with a group

This park has plenty of shade and is very welcoming - we found the staff friendly and helpful when we called in to look around. It is very busy during school holidays so it is advisable to book ahead.
