Euston Club Resort

Euston is a small town on the Murray River in NSW about 70 kilometres from Mildura. We called in to look around the town and have a drink at Euston Club Resort - said to be the best club in the area. This is a large club and renovations were being carried out to create a large al fresco dining area overlooking the Murray River. This club has a range of facilities and accommodation options:

• two bowling greens – one artificial with a retractable shade cloth awning in place for hot days – a grass green that looked to be in really gook condition  
• A number of cabins behind the bowling greens that overlook a parkland area towards the river. These are really neat and tidy with lovely gardens – each has a private deck screened from neighbours for privacy  
• Plenty of parking along the side of the Club with space for cars towing vans or campers. 
• The Euston Club Motel is close by with some interconnecting rooms and numerous rooms overlooking the river - you can charge back to your room
• dining option open for lunch and dinner daily - daily specials (the new bistro will be open for buffet breakfast and have a children's play area)
• various bars and lounges throughout the club

This was a very welcoming club and the service was fast and friendly. It was beautifully cool on a hot day with plenty of places to sit and relax. It has a large gambling area and we were a bit surprised at how many people were playing the poker machines in the middle of the day.
