Coolongolook is a small community on the Pacific Highway about 55 kilometres south of Taree in NSW. It is a popular spot for travellers to take a break when heading along this busy road with a couple of large service stations and several food outlets.
Friends of mine find it hard to drive past the Salty Dog Seafood Cafe and Gallery whenever they are driving past - you can't miss it with a boat out front.
Andy's Cherry Pie Cafe is also on the same side of the road and is becoming increasingly popular.
