During our stay in Broken Hill we decided to head out and look at the sculptures in the living desert flora and fauna park. There is an entry fee required for this park and a collection point is located at the entrance. The flora and fauna area was closed during our visit but we were able to go up to view the sculptures.
These sculptures are created from large pieces of sandstone carved by famous sculptors from all over the world. Each one has a story and the information boards around the path explain the meaning of each piece of art. There are great view of the surrounding countryside from the sculptures which are about 12 kilometres out of town.
