Barooga is small town in NSW, situated on the Murray River straight across the border from Cobram. Sporties Cobram Barooga Golf Club Resort can be found in Barooga - follow Golf Course Road and turn into Burkinshaw Street to enter the club.
This golf club resort has two courses:
The Clubhouse itself looked to be recently renovated with lovely large indoor and outdoor dining areas overlooking the Golf Course. The new lounge bar was a very comfortable place to enjoy a cold drink. The Club has indoor bowls, a dedicated kids room as well as on course accommodation. The Pro Shop can be accessed through the club and we found it was well stocked with golfing gear. Berrigan Golf club is only about 30 kilometres down the road and another course to try when staying in the area.
There is also a new function room at the club which was busy hosting a Christmas function and we were unable to look inside. There was plenty of room in the carpark for our car towing the van and we were able to turn around easily.
