We have spent quite a lot of time in the ACT over the years and have seen Civic Square in the centre of Canberra develop into trendy meeting place with lots of cafes, bars, restaurants and great shopping centres.
While working in Canberra during our last visit we were staying close to Civic Square in one of the many apartment buildings within walking distance. This place has a great bus service which allows visitors and workers to access most suburbs. The Canberra Theatre is not far away with concerts and musical performances running nearly all year round.
What a great place to visit - highly recommended.
