O'Connell is a small village between Bathurst and Oberon in the Central West of NSW. Just head along the O'Connell road and you will find this lovely little spot which has a hotel and cafe. This is a popular meeting location on and is often frequented by cyclists during their weekend outings.
The O'Connell Avenue Cafe and Store sells great coffee and has a very good choice of meals for Breakfast and Lunch. It is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from about 7 am until 4:30 pm with a really good selection of home baked treats to enjoy with local Fish River Roaster's Coffee.
The Hotel has a lovely shaded outdoor seating area and has a range of meals including pub favourites. This is surrounded by beautiful countryside and well worth a relaxing drive.
