Lake Argyle Caravan and Camping Park can be found on the banks of Lake Argyle in the Eastern Kimberley Region of Western Austrlalia - near Kununurra. This is a lovely shaded park with over 100 powered sites and a large area for un-powered camping. The amenities are very clean and there is a well maintained camp kitchen for the use of guests. Lake Argyle Resort /Caravan Park is pet friendly for most of the accommodation.
The Lake Argyle Restaurant/Cafe is open seven days per week - I think opening times vary in the quiet season. Basic supplies and souvenirs are available from the cafe area, as well as cold drinks, ice creams and snacks. I purchased a great sun hat with fly net zippered into the top - essential on hot days. The staff will help with any tour bookings.
Of course the main feature of the Lake Argyle Resort is the Infinity Pool which is open all day. This pool has a 35 metre wet edge overlooking the beautiful scenery of Lake Argyle. If you are just visiting for the day a small fee is charged to use the facilities.
