Guilderton is a small town about one hours drive north of Perth and the Guilderton Caravan Park is located on the foreshore of the Moore River. We were surprised to find that a powered site was $45 per night which we thought was a bit expensive during November (apparently the high season at Guilderton Caravan Park runs from late September to early May). The amenities were good, and they close off a number of the showers during the day asking people to rinse off outside when they come up from the beach (fair enough). Water is restricted.

Guilderton Caravan Park is just metres from the Moore River Estuary and the beach which are perfect for swimming, fishing, canoeing and surfing. There are a number of walking trails throughout Guilderton - we headed up to the lookout with some great views of the beach and estuary. No pets are allowed at the park.
