Denham Seaside Tourist Village is a Top Tourist park in Denham, Western Australia - we stayed here for about ten days during our wonderful visit to Shark Bay. Our caravan site was very large and situated at the back of the park - large enough to park the car beside the caravan with the awning fully extended. The roads are exceptionally wide which makes for easy, stress free backing - they are covered in shell grit which keeps the dust down.

Facilities of this caravan park include:

• Free gas barbeques
• three ablution blocks - all clean and tidy - one ablution block has ten individual unisex bathrooms - no keys required
• Drinking water on all powered and ensuite sites - a nice change from further north where the water is artesian and very salty.
• two dump points
• gas bottle refills and ice for sale at reception
• fish cleaning station - great fishing directly in front of the park
• some sites overlooking the water

A small supermarket is located across the road from the entrance to the park which is open from 7 am to 7 pm - we found this to be well stocked and reasonably priced. The Denham Seaside Tourist Village is close to town and it is a lovely walk along the water to the shops and the Visitor Information Centre. The staff were great and we extended our stay several times in order to see as much as possible in this beautiful area of Shark Bay.
