Ardern's Caravan Park in Myrtleford is owned by a young couple who make visitors feel very welcome. We have spoken to several people who have stayed when visiting the area and have found the park to be a great base to explore this beautiful part of Victoria.
Ardern's have powered and non-powered sites suitable for campers, caravans and camper trailers as well as some extra large sites for motor homes. They have a range of ensuite and basic cabins providing accommodation for visitors to the area.
Myrtleford is a lovely small town conveniently located close the Mt Buffalo National Park, Bright and the Milawa Gourmet food area. In this area you will find wineries, Pumpkin Seeds Australia, Berry farms, olive growers as well as walnuts and hazelnuts - something for everyone.
Ardern's is conveniently located for an overnight stay when riding the rail trail between Bright and Wangaratta.
Myrtleford is a lovely little country town located between Bright and Beechworth, and close to Mount Buffalo National Park. The Myrtleford Holiday Park is a nice looking caravan park in the centre of town which is owned by the Alpine Shire Council. It is only a two minute walk to the shops and directly adjacent the the town park - across the road from the Visitor Information Centre.
This council park has large grassed sites with plenty of shade and very reasonably priced for visitors. It is located close to lovely looking lawn tennis courts and the bowling club with easy access to local tourist attractions.
The park has a range of accommodation including cabins, bunk house, powered caravan sites (some ensuite) and unpowered caravan or camping sites. A great place to base yourself to explore this lovely area of Victoria.
