It's easy, start by picking a location. Each article has a link to an RvTrips' web page containing more detailed information, photos and maps.
While visiting Benalla in Victoria we stayed for a couple of nights in our caravan at the Gateway Lifestyle Holiday Park. This park is located on the main road as you come into town from an easterly direction - not far from Benalla Airport. The Gateway Lifestyle Benalla Park also houses a lifestyle village, which is seperate from the caravan and camping area with permanent residents.
Some features of the Park include:
This park is on the outskirts of town, in the industrial area with a bike/walking path that leads to the main shopping area and Visitor Information Centre. We had a lovely drive-through site with plenty of shade and lots of space as the park was really quiet just before Christmas. Benalla is just two hour’s drive from Melbourne or one hour from ski resorts of Mt Buller
Benalla is known for Ned Kelly Trail, birthplace of Weary Dunlop, botanical gardens, rose gardens, Art Galleries, museums, local wineries and nearby Winton Raceway - remember to check out the street art (large beautiful murals painted on several buildings around town).
