Port Wakefield is located about 98 kilometres from Adelaide and the Port Wakefield Caravan park is situated on the river just a few blocks from the Princes Highway.

This park appeared to be neat and tidy with several permanents caravans. The majority of sites were gravel and flat, with some in lovely shaded spots overlooking the Wakefield River.

Facilities include:

  • clean amenities with disabled bathroom
  • shaded electric barbeques 
  • recreation room
  • fish cleaning facilities
  • fully equipped cabins - standard, ensuite or deluxe
  • powered and unpowered sites
  • children's playground
  • dump point
