Judy and Wayne were relieving managers at the Point Turton Caravan Park during our visit to the area and they made us feel very welcome. What a lovely spot to enjoy a relaxing holiday in this small village overlooking Harwicke Bay - great for boating and fishing with the Point Turton Tavern just up the hill (great food, cold drinks and wonderful views).
The Point Turton Caravan Park is located in an old Flux Quarry and right alongside the jetty and boat ramp. Its position enables sites to be well protected from the winds and very close to swimming beaches and boating facilities. The amenities are old but extremely clean and tidy. We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely little park and would not hesitate to return when we next visit the Yorke Peninsula in South Australia.
