Marla is a small place in South Australia, located on the Stuart Highway about 160 kilometres south of the Northern Territory Border. This is the last place to dispose of fruit and vegetables before continuing your journey into South Australia.

This was an extremely popular place to break the long drive along the highway and there were lots of people enjoying lunch in the lovely parkland establish out the front of this large roadhouse. We found the staff to be really friendly with great advice and knowledge on the quarantine regulations when heading south. Marla is also the start of the Oodnadatta Track and a great place to stock up before heading off on this iconic 4WD adventure.
