Hawker is a small town in the Flinders Ranges, South Australia - found at the intersection of the Outback Highway and the Flinders Ranges Highway, about 55 kilometres from Wilpena Pound. The is a great place to base yourself to explore the wonderful scenery of the Flinders Ranges with a range of accommodation, airstrip, hospital and historic buildings.
The Hawker Caravan Park has two locations within the town of Hawker - the main park is on Chace View Terrace and the second is an Overflow located on Carpenter Road and used between Easter and October. This second (Overflow) park has huge sites suitable for the biggest rigs where you can camp among the trees and bring your dog.

Hawker Caravan Park does not allow dogs on sites (except in summer). this park is within walking distance to town - Wilpena Panorama, Fred Teague's Museum, The Old Ghan Restaurant and the Hawker Hotel.
