Blanchetown Caravan Park sit on the banks of the Murray River in South Australia and just north of the bridge near the Paisley Creek Wetlands. Blanchetown is home of Lock 1 and this caravan park sits upstream from the lock overlooking some lovely cliffs created by the Mighty Murray.
Blanchetown Caravan Park is full of trees containing a huge variety of bird life - definitely a bird watchers paradise. The park is located close to the boat ramp for easy access to the river for water skiing, fishing or just exploring this amazing waterway.

Blanchetown is the home of Lock 1 on the Murray River in South Australia - about 140 kilometres from Adelaide. The Blanchetown Riverside Holiday Park is a member of BIG4 Park and is situated downstream from the Lock. There is a lovely grassed area along the river with a barbeque and picnic tables. A private beach on the banks of the river lies in front of the Park for guests to access to water for a cooling dip. A pontoon has been floated on the water for fishing and swimming and this can be accessed via a walkway from the banks of the river. BIG4 Blanchetown Riverside Holiday Park is an older looking park but very neat and tidy.
