Our articles have been grouped into locations so you can better read about what there is to see and do in a town.
It's easy, start by picking a location. Each article has a link to an RvTrips' web page containing more detailed information, photos and maps.
Wandai is a lovely little town just north of Kingaroy on the Bunya Highway. This is a large timber cutting area and the visitor information centre has a great range of wooden products – bowls, pens etc. The woodworking shed is next door and you can go in and watch the craftsmen and women at work turning the wood. The timber is local and there are examples on display of all the timber found in the local area.
Not far from the VIC is the Wondai Caravan Park which is only small and located on Mackenzie street near the RSL Club and swimming pool. This is conveniently located within walking distance to the shops, post office and pub. The sign out the front says that after hours bookings are to be made at the RSL Club.
