While visiting Noosa on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland we stayed in our caravan at the Noosa Caravan Park, Morrindil Street, Tewantin. This is a Top Tourist Park which is very neat and tidy - full of palm trees and plenty of grassed areas. We were meeting up with my sister and her husband who were staying in a cabin at the park - the staff went to the trouble of rearranging bookings so that their cabin was located near our caravan - very convenient and extremely thoughtful.
Facilities of the Noosa Caravan Park include
While we were staying at Noosa Caravan Park they were offering a Pizza night where guest could get together and enjoy freshly cooked pizzas with the staff - this was very popular. There is a free bus service from the Tewantin RSL Club to the Caravan Park where you are collected from the entrance to the park and dropped back after dinner. This park is a short drive to some great beaches and the hinterland - we visited Buderim Ginger Factory and the Eumundi markets - both fabulous. We also enjoyed a trip down the Noosa River from Tewantin to Noosa Heads and walked along the famous Hastings Street. I would highly recommend Fish and Chips from Noosa Harbour Fish Market at the Noosa Marina, Tewantin - absolutely beautiful lunch with fresh fish cooked perfectly.
We enjoyed our stay at Noosa Caravan Park, Tewantin and would not hesitate to call here again when next towing our caravan along the Queensland coast.
