Mundubbera is a small town in Queensland north of Kingaroy and a short distance from the Burnett Highway. We called in to look around during our caravan trip a couple of years ago and drove past the – the Citrus Country Caravan Park - at the Big Mandarin. This is easy to spot with a giant orange Mandarin sitting out front that doubles as a kiosk
The park looked a bit run down in places but I understand that there are also some excellent sections. This small town doubles in size during fruit picking season with backpackers coming from all around the world - many of these workers reside in the caravan park.

Mundubbera is a small town about 178 kilometres from Kingaroy, Queensland, along the Burnett Highway. We detoured a short distance from the highway to see if Mandarins were available as this is a well known citrus growing area. It was obviously not the season and we drove around town to have a look.
Three Rivers Tourist Park is located on the main road into town and looks like a very nice, well maintained park with lots of space. They have range of accommodation including:
Mundubbera is only two and a half hours from Bundaberg, Hervey Bay and Biloela - an interesting place to visit. The Three Rivers Tourist Park has a shaded swimming pool and very nice amenities, with flat slab sites which appear to be nice and big.
