Our articles have been grouped into locations so you can better read about what there is to see and do in a town.
It's easy, start by picking a location. Each article has a link to an RvTrips' web page containing more detailed information, photos and maps.
On a trip through Queensland a couple of years ago we stayed at the BIG4 Kingaroy Holiday Park. Located on the main road through town this was a convenient place for us to spend the night in the caravan.
There were metal ramps across the deep gutters beside the park – you need to have the van straight and wheels following directly behind to make sure you do not go off the edge.
We had a site long enough to leave the van hooked up but it was a little tight to maneuvre into place – luckily no one was occupying the cabin directly across the way.
The ladies amenities had recently been fully renovated and looked great with corrugated Iron walls. Interesting facts about Joh Bjelkie Petersen were displayed on the back of toilet doors. Of course Kingaroy was made famous as the home of Joh Bjelke Petersen - a peanut farmer who became premier of Queensland.
This park has a range of facilities including a shaded swimming pool and barbeque area as well as a games room with table tennis equipment.
