It's easy, start by picking a location. Each article has a link to an RvTrips' web page containing more detailed information, photos and maps.
When visiting Julia Creek in outback Queensland we stayed at the Julia Creek Caravan Park. Julia Creek is located on the Flinders Highway between Richmond and Cloncurry and this caravan park is within walking distance to town and the Visitor Information Centre. I particular enjoyed the sign out the front of the park - Welcome. No Strangers here, Only friends you haven't met. This is so true when staying in caravan parks around this beautiful country.
We were allocated a large drive through site which was very good - level and lots of space. The amenities are old but clean and spacious. The park is well maintained and tidy - the staff are friendly (just like the sign said they would be).
Facilities available at the caravan park
Well behaved pets are welcome at the caravan park - Julia Creek is close by if you want to go fishing. From April to September the Julia Creek Caravan Park has a Bush Dinner evenings each Monday to support community group - they even offer a free bus for those staying at the free camp site on the edge of town. We enjoyed our brief stay at Julia Creek Caravan Park.
