The BIG4 Innisfail Mango Tree Tourist Park is located just off the Bruce Highway as you drive into Innisfail from the south. The beautiful gardens are the first thing you see as you drive towards this neat and tidy caravan park.
We were greeted warmly by the owners who were happy for us to look around. This was a quiet time of year with only a few people staying but the park can be very busy form May to August with all the grey nomads heading north. The sites are flat with slabs and most sites have beautiful flowing shrubs between them. This caravan park has an open shaded kitchen beside the pool and a variety of cabins.
Access to the park is along a quite street with plenty of parking while you book in. We would not hesitate to stay at the Mango Tree Tourist Park at Innisfail.
Located on Bruce Highway on South Johnstone River at Innisfail the River Drive Van Park is a great place to stay if you enjoy fishing. The sites seem to be very flat and the park provides plenty of shade on hot days in northern Queensland.
The park has powered and un-powered sites as well as a range of cabins or dongas. They also a range of permanent vans within the park which seem to be quite neat. A convenient place to stop when travelling along the Bruce Highway.
