Our articles have been grouped into locations so you can better read about what there is to see and do in a town.
It's easy, start by picking a location. Each article has a link to an RvTrips' web page containing more detailed information, photos and maps.
During our stay in Dalby we chose the Dalby Tourist Park - on Myall Street and close to town. The park owner was very welcoming and chatty on our arrival. A large sealed area within this park allows you to stay hitched up to the van overnight. This is very level and easy to access. There are grassy sites beside the creek if you want to stay a while - some have slabs.
The Amenities block is old but very clean - doors are open during the day but locked at night with key access. The Park also offers cabins, ensuite powered sites, camping areas, dump point, covered barbeque areas etc. Pets are allowed in your own van or tent for short stays.
The Dalby Tourist Park is located beside the aquatic centre and bowling club and there is a lovely walk to the town centre along the Myall Creek.
Pioneer Caravan Park in Dalby is located in Black Street just off the Warrego Highway - west of the town centre. This looks like a very well maintained park with lots of trees for shade and plenty of space for the caravan. There are lovely gardens in this caravan park and a nice pool for a quick dip. The amenities are clean.
There are a number of cabins located in the park with separate entrances for the workforce village and the caravan park. This caravan park is located opposite the Pioneer Park Museum - a very interesting place to visit.
