Camooweal Roadhouse Caravan Park has several different types of accommodation available - cabins, motel rooms and caravan/camping sites. It is located behind the BP service station on the Barkly Highway and the restaurant serves sit-down meals. The Roadhouse is open seven days a week which is very convenient when travelling outback Australia.
This caravan park is pet friendly which has amenities, laundry facilities as well a camp kitchen. The Roadhouse sells basic groceries and is an ideal base for exploring the Camooweal Caves National Park - close to Drovers Camp and the Visitor Information Centre.
We called in to look at this caravan park on our trip to the Northern Territory. There are a number of shady spots available and it is very easy to access from the highway. Camooweal Roadhouse Caravan Park has some grassy areas and plenty of drive-through sites.
The Post Office Hotel Caravan Park in Camooweal is located on the Barkly Highway. The Post Office building also has a Hotel and Cafe which is very convenient when staying overnight.
There are good drive-through sites and the park is fully fenced with some shade. Camooweal is a popular place to stay overnight when travelling to the Northern Territory.
