Tropical Beach Caravan Park - as the name suggests is located on the water in Bowen. We called in to look around the Park during our trip through Bowen in north Queensland - staff were friendly and helpful. The tropical gardens throughout the park provide plenty of shade - beautifully maintained. It seemed to be a very popular spot and was almost full even though school holidays had finished.

Some facilities of the park include:

• waterfront cabins, villas, and caravan sites,
• ensuite sites and shady powered sites 
• beachfront barbeques, picnic tables and seating
• Salt water Inground swimming pool
• amenities blocks - clean with laundry
• Kiosk offering bait, ice, ice-creams, cold drinks and milk - gas refills
• dump point
• parking assistance - if required
• Wireless Internet
• Public transport from front gate
• Dog friendly (For caravanners only)

The bays and beaches of Bowen are beautiful and some sites at the Tropical Beach Caravan Park are only metres from the sand with direct beach access for fishing. This looks like lovely place to relax and is close to the golf course, boat ramp, shopping centre etc. 

This is a truly well maintained and beautiful park on Queens Bay in the lovely town of Bowen. We called in to look at the Bowen Coral Coast Beachfront Holiday Park (BIG4) while travelling along the coast of Queensland. It is located right on the water and it is a great spot to fish, swim or go paddling - very popular for a relaxing break.  

Facilities of the park include:

• amenities block - disabled bathroom, baby bath, laundry facilities 
• concrete slabs, drive-through or large motor home sites (valet parking available)
• kiosk - souvenirs, papers, drinks, ice-creams, ice, bait and gas refill
• recreation room
  
• camp kitchen with coffee machine
• villas overlooking the pool, or on the beachfront
• barbeques overlooking the beach
• Go Karts (unpowered)
• salt water pool with an outdoor shower
• public transport nearby
• boom gate
• dump point

This park is very popular and you will need to book if you want to stay here for any length of time - of course BIG4 discounts apply. It seems to be a very relaxing spot on the beach, and the RvTrips team look forward to spending more time in Bowen - soon we hope.
