We enjoyed three nights in our van at the Barkly Homestead Caravan Park even though it seems to be in the middle of nowhere.  The sites are drive-through and each is separated by a small garden.  These sites are set up on a diagonal so you can drive in from either direction.  One of the amenities blocks consists of individual bathrooms which are very convenient.

We found the staff very friendly and helpful and the Barkly Homestead Caravan Park neat and tidy.  This is a great place to stop when travelling from Queensland into the Northern Territory.  Barkly Homestead has a restaurant, bar, coffee shop, take away food, souvenirs and fuel.
