Country Acres Caravan Park in Singleton sits just off the New England Highway as you head out of town towards Muswellbrook. Singleton is well located in the Hunter Valley with access to very popular wine regions, historic Morpeth and the amazing horse studs near Denman, and Scone.
They have range of cabins, powered sites and camping area which are all easily accessible. The grounds appear to be well maintained with a salt water pool, camp kitchen, barbeque facilities and clean amenities. This caravan park is pet friendly on sites and for short stays. The caravan park allows long term stays for those who may have a contract to work in the area or wish to enjoy an extended holiday in beautiful Singleton.
This is a family owned park and they were happy for us to look around.
Singleton Showground is located near the CBD of Singleton and is within walking distance to shops, cafes, pubs and clubs. The showground is used for a number of events including the Singleton Show and Wife Carrying Event, Farmers Markets, exhibitions, and also available for travellers to stay for a short while in their caravans, motor-homes or tents.
In some of the old structures around the Showground are displays of historic agricultural machinery and equipment - very interesting
The caravan sites were flat and spacious and the showground even has a dump point for the use of guests. We look forward to heading back with the caravan and staying a few nights.
