Our articles have been grouped into locations so you can better read about what there is to see and do in a town.
It's easy, start by picking a location. Each article has a link to an RvTrips' web page containing more detailed information, photos and maps.
Red Rock Holiday Park is a member of North Coast Parks in NSW and can be found about 43 kilometres north of Coffs Harbour - 6km from the Pacific Highway. This is a quiet park located at the mouth of the Corindi River and at the southern end of Yuraygir National Park - an ideal base for bushwalking, fishing, boating, surfing and snorkelling. In fact we have friends who spend several weeks here every January enjoying this beautiful part of the NSW coastline.
Red Rock Holiday Park has some amazing permanent tents (safari tents with an ensuite) perched on the riverbank. There are a variety of powered and unpowered sites - some large enough for motor homes and 5th wheelers. We enjoyed a lovely walk to the lookout and then to the beach near the mouth of the river - protected form the wind. Dark Red rocks appear along the shore and I guess this is where the name came from. A boat ramp is just on the other side of the park near the entrance to the caravan park and I understand a large variety of fish can be found in the local waterways.
This is only a small community with a bowling club and small shop with a Post Office.
