Lanis On The Beach is a Top Tourist caravan park at Old Bar, New South Wales - turn off the Pacific Highway at the southern roundabout to Taree and head towards the coast. As the name suggests, it is located on the beach with several walking paths leading through the sand hills onto the sand. This is a large park set in bushland with a variety of accommodation options:

• Cottages - open plan sleeping up to 4 adults
• Family Lodge - sleep up to 4 adults
• 2 bedroom villas sleeping up to 5 people
• 3 bedroom cabanas that sleep up to 6 people
• powered ensuite caravan or camping sites 
• powered camping, caravan, motorhome or large RV sites
• un-powered camping or caravan sites. 

Facilities of Lani's on the Beach include:

• Camp kitchen and barbeque -  a toilet is located behind the camp kitchen for guests
• dump point
• very clean amenities - laundry with washing machines, dryers and ironing - disabled amenities
• access to free to air TV cable
• recreational facilities + a large playground alongside the park
• boom gate for security
• swimming pool

We stayed several nights at Lani's on the Beach and enjoyed our stay in this comfortable park which is within easy walking distance to shops, cafes, Post Office, chemist, baker and all the facilities of Old Bar. We took a long walk along the beach before exploring the area in the car. There are some very popular surfing spots close by and if you are lucky you may even see some kite surfers in action off the beach. Old Bar Beach is patrolled during the summer and the Surf Life Saving Club is just across the road from the entrance to Lani's on the Beach.
