It's easy, start by picking a location. Each article has a link to an RvTrips' web page containing more detailed information, photos and maps.
During our travels along the New England Highway in the Hunter Valley of NSW we decided to spend the night in the lovely country town of Muswellbrook. The only caravan park we could find was called The Riverside Cabin and Van Park located on Mills Street – just off the main highway.
This is a basic park with old cabins which seem to be used as a base for a number of contract workers in the area. There were a couple of caravans in the park that were set up for a long stay and only a small number of powered sites. We were given a drive through powered site that was alongside the amenities block and on one of the roads of the park. This was convenient as we could stay hooked up overnight and the site was level.
The owner of the park was ill and had an older couple who were helping with bookings. They were extremely friendly and helpful and we decided to stay. This caravan park needs a bit of TLC but is conveniently located within walking distance to the town centre.
The amenities are clean.
