The Murrurundi Caravan Park can be found at 11 Bernard Street on the outskirts of town – just off the New England Highway between Scone and Tamworth in NSW. This park is a member of KUI group and has flat open areas suitable for all size rigs.
As the brochure says Owned and operated by RVers for RVers and slowly being renovated by new owners who were very friendly and helpful. There are drive-through sites available and you can have a slab of grassy area beside the van. The cabins in the centre of the park have recently been re-roofed and now have a covered car parking area near the door.
The Murrurundi Caravan Park has very clean amenities (disabled facilities), laundry and nice camp kitchen - a fire pit in winter months.. Some of the cabins are created out of railway carriages which would make a great place to stay with the family. This park is walking distance to town which has some lovely cafes or restaurants and a variety of historical buildings. There are plenty of things to see in the area and the owners are full of information on local attractions.
The RvTrips team would not hesitate to say at the Murrurundi Caravan Park.
