Grassy Head is a small place on the mid north coast of NSW between Scotts Head and Stuarts Point - about 18 kilometres from Macksville. At Grassy Head you will find a picnic reserve for day visitors, and the Grassy Head Holiday Park. The Day Visitor Area has a children's playground, public toilets and picnic tables.
Grassy Head Holiday Park is a basic caravan park in a bushland setting with great access to Grassy Head beach. This is a very quiet spot for a relaxing holiday enjoying the bird life and/or good fishing. The office staff are friendly and were happy for us to take a look around the facilities. There is popular easy walk following the riverbank from Grassy Head to Stuarts Point.
