On a day trip to Brunswick Heads we called in to look at Ferry Reserve. This North Coast Holiday Park is right on the Brunswick River and is very popular. All the cabins and camp sites are close to the river - great for fishing, kayaking, swimming, snorkelling or boating. A boat ramp is adjacent to the reserve and the patrolled beach is only a short walk away.
I think this looks like a really nice place to spend a few weeks and is very busy during the holiday season - make sure you ring first and book a site. This park is dog friendly on request.
Massey Greene, a North Coast Holiday Park, is located very close to town on the Brunswick River. We called in here to have a look around during a day trip to Brunswick Heads - it looks like a great place to stay as it is only a very short walking distance to all the cafes and shops (groceries, butcher, newsagent, baker etc).
This park is located on the main channel of the Brunswick River - great for fishing, swimming, snorkelling and boating. There are eight family cabins in the park (one with disabled facilities) and various powered and unpowered caravan and camping sites. The Brunswick Fishermans Co-Op is close by and they sell fresh seafood or takeaway fish and chips.
The Massey Greene Holiday Park has a great children's playground and very clean amenities - it offers heaps of shade and is very popular with families during the school holidays.
We stopped in to look at the Terrace Reserve Holiday Park on a day trip to Brunswick Heads - this is a North Coast Holiday Park. The Park is located beside Simpsons Creek and is surrounded by nature reserves. It is a only a short walk to all the restaurants, cafes, shops and hotels at Brunswick Heads and just across the footbridge to the patrolled surf beach.
All sites are just a few metres form the water which is very calm and looks great for swimming, snorkeling, fishing or boating - maybe even try stand up paddle boarding .
Terrace Reserve Holiday Park has a variety of family cabins and camp sites to choose from and this is a neat and tidy park with good amenities. This is a very popular place during the school holidays so I suggest you book well in advance. Brunswick Heads has a has a great holiday feel and I look forward to spending a holiday here in the near future.
