Bendemeer is a quaint little village just off the New England Highway between Tamworth and Armidale, NSW.
The Bendemeer Tourist Park is situated on the McDonald River and next to a service station. My husband used to see platypus in this River when he was growing up in the area - keep your eyes open for these beautiful creatures.
